This blog is a chronicle of how I said goodbye as my husband was dying in 2007, and how I said goodbye, with journal writings, throughout the first year after his death. It is written from two perspectives, mine, dealing with grieving days here on earth and then, imagining his perspective of the same day from Heaven.

"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me With Memories of Bobby
Robert loved this song. It touched him long before his precious mother Alice passed away, October 30, 2002. At her funeral, the song was played with photos of Alice.
It seemed appropriately logical to use it with Bobby. Most of the photos here are of Bobby's early life, long before he knew me. I truly enjoyed seeing some of these photos for the first time.
Thank you to my great-nephew, Thomas for the wonderful job he did of putting this together for us. I will be forever grateful that his family will have these precious memories of happy times with Booby.
