Dear Family,
Just a quick note to let you know it will be Sunday morning when we finally go the hospital to have Bobby's Ascities drained. He was up several times during the night and slept until a little after noon. By the time he bathed and got ready it was after 2:00 pm. He was worn out and too stubborn.

Michael & Noah had come over at noon to help me get our Christmas boxes out of the attic. Thanks Mary, for offering to help get our decorations down if he didn't get it done. It has now been done. I wasn't yet convinced I was going to go to all the time & trouble it is to decorate. But, I will for Bobby and the grand-kids who may be around to enjoy. With all the sadness and all the unknowns that lie ahead of us in this next year, it will probably pick up our spirits to have things decorated and pretty.
Of all years, and under the circumstances of Bobby's frail health, this Christmas, will probably have the most meaning ever for us. That baby in the manger whose birth we will celebrate, came into this world for all of us to have the opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus, if we are saved. None of us know when our time to leave this earth will be; only He knows. Bobby and I pray that each of our family and our friends have the peace and assurance of their salvation. We know that we do. And we have faith that we will all rejoice together again one day with our loved ones who have gone on before us.
Please pray for Bobby as we go tomorrow for this draining procedure. Even with numbing the area where the needle goes in, the procedure is quite uncomfortable.
I'll update everyone after we get home.
Love to all of you,
Love to all of you,
Kim
